Company History

Allen Ritter started his construction career with the C. S. Lambie Co. He spent 10 years as a junior partner responsible for the estimating and purchasing on large commercial and industrial construction jobs throughout the Texas Panhandle and New Mexico.

The J. Allen Ritter Construction Company was started in 1960. Allen's experience in the construction field along with his education and degree from Texas A&M in Architecture soon led the new company from construction to a full-service organization, specializing in preliminary planning, design, and construction. In 1978 the name of the company was changed to "The Ritter Company."

A. Keith Ritter joined The Ritter Company in 1979 as Partner and Vice President. He came to the company with a Civil Engineering Degree from Texas A&M and 22 years of experience in the construction industry. In 1983 Keith became the Owner and President of The Ritter Company.

Cary B. Ritter joined The Ritter Company in 1986 after graduation from West Texas State University with a degree in Building Construction. He is the current Owner and President of The Ritter Company.
